What is ECR-1 ?

  1. An affordable and the smallest three-channel ECG recorder currently on the market.
  2. The battery operated ECR-1 is an easy-to-use and convenient ECG monitoring device.
    Battery capacity
  3. The system consists of a ECG recorder, a set of electrodes and cables, user manual and case.
  4. A PC output is available using a serial interface cable and ECR1 software.
  5. Real time visual monitoring with a convenient built-in LCD display.
  6. Remote digital and analog monitoring and data transmission.

Performance specifications of ECR-1:

  1. Records ECG signals from the standard extremity and chest leads for 5 or 20 sec.
    How to connect
  2. Records and stores up to 10 ECG signal sequences.
  3. Stores one additional ECG signal sequence which is chosen as the reference signal.
  4. Calculates the standard ECG parameters: pulse, RR interval, RR interval irregularity, P wave amplitude, T wave amplitude, PR interval, QRS complex interval, QT interval.
    Refference signal
  5. Transmits ECG signals via a telephone line.
  6. Receives and stores acoustic ECG signals from another ECR-1.
    Modem transmission
  7. Allows a standard ECG recorder to be used to print the stored signals.
  8. Shows the ECG signal on a built-in LCD display with a standard 5 cm/s, 5 cm/4s and 1 cm/mV scale.
  9. Transmits stored ECG signals to a PC via a standard serial RS232 interface.
  10. Enables the ECG signals to be analyzed using the included ECR1 software.
  11. Self explanatory and colored keys allow to perform, without previously detailed study of the manual, basic operations such as:
    1. Recording an ECG signal,
    2. Calculate the basic ECG signal parameters,
    3. Transmit ECG signals via a telephone line,
    4. Connect to a traditional ECG device to print recorded signals onto chart paper.

Applications of ECR-1:

  1. Individual user can transmit recently recorded ECG data to his specialist via a telephone line.
  2. Individual users can choose when to record their ECG data and when to transmit it to their specialist.
  3. Family doctor or cardiac specialist can include an ECR-1 device to his portable equipment because of the pocket size of the ECR-1 recorder.
  4. Terminal in a network of cardiological monitoring systems since it is easy to record and transmit ECG data.
  5. The ECR-1 can be used wherever the small size and low cost of the device are found useful for recording ECG data, e.g. remote locations, airplanes, ambulances, etc.
